this is my opinion on the movie i just finished watching

Hi you guys, and welcome back to TV with Nay. I'm your host, Nay Nay, and today we're going to be talking about the movie I finished watching called Bad Influence. You can watch that on Netflix. Of course, with Netflix, you do need to have a subscription with them. This movie came out in 2025, and it is an hour and 48 minutes long. And of course, with Netflix, there is no ads. So you first meet Ederos, he's in jail, and David, who is Reese's father, comes in and offers him a job and says that he wants him to be a bodyguard for his daughter, well, his teenage daughter, and that she is a ballet dancer, and you know, she's been bullied, and all this stuff is kind of happening at her school. So Eder's takes the job, but he's kind of like hesitant about it, but he still takes the job. And how Edres and uh Reese first meet is that there she is at a dance recital, she's dancing, and then a light fixture's really loose, you can see it wobbling, and then it falls, and then Edres saves her from it, and then he just like runs out. And so then um Eris goes and tells his friends what kind of job he has, and he's explaining how good of a dancer Reese is, and they're kind of making fun of him for it, but he's like, Well, she's really good, you know, and explains that. And so then they're like, Okay, well, they make all kinds of like jokes and stuff at him, but he's taking the job because he knows that this will help uh his friend Diego's brother get out of foster care if they can prove that they have steady income. So then Edres meets um David at his house, and then David introduces Reese and Edres, and when you see when they meet each other, their eyes just like it's like magnetic. You can tell they like each other, but nothing is supposed to happen. And even her father, David, says, like, nothing's supposed to happen. So then Edres starts going to school with Reese, and he's following her, and she's like, You're not helping, you're making the situation worse, and all this other stuff. And you can see that Reese is being um bullied in school, and all this stuff is happening to her online and things like that as well. Um, but eventually throughout the movie, you can tell that Aries and Reese starts really liking each other and they start expressing themselves to each other and things like that. I will say, with watching the movie, I did fast forward a lot because it did get very stagnant to me. I felt like the storyline kind of took forever to get to the point of what it was trying to explain. Um, but yeah, so I I did fast forward a lot. This is in dub, so this is a Spanish movie that's dubbed. So when you are watching it with the subtitles, you do have to realize that the when them speaking is not it's not going to match. So you may want to take the subtitles off. But, anyways, that was just my side note. I'm all over the place today. But so um Eris and Reese, they go to this party and he is considered to be known as this legend. She's asking, well, like what is this legend? And he explains what the meaning behind the nickname legend is. He lost his father and his mother. Reese tries to explain how she lost her mother, and he goes, like, I don't want you to have pity on me. Like, it's not the same thing. Um, and one thing in the movie that you'll see is that when Eris is at the school, he's always drawing and he's drawing all these little sketches. Um, but yeah, so that was some things that happened. And then what else kind of happened? I'm trying to think. Oh, yeah. So what else happened was that uh they ended up like making out, falling for each other. They get caught, her her dad doesn't like it, he gets kicked out of the house, and so he doesn't know kind of like you know, he's his world has been kind of Edri's world has been upside turned upside down. Like he thinks that all rich people were gonna be snobs, and that's not the case because Reese is nothing like that. She is kind, she's compassionate, she tries her best to be a f a good friend and things like that. And all this weird stuff is happening with Reese throughout the whole film. Like people are throwing like an eight, like a pull ball through her window. Uh things happen at school where she's getting sprayed with stuff. Uh, there's like so much stuff of being bullied, and she's like throughout the movie, Reese and her friends are trying to figure out who is doing this to her. And so that's one thing throughout like it like that is like a guessing game because you kind of think you know who it is and you don't. And so this is where like the spoiler is going to come in. It actually is uh Eddie's friend uh Peyton, uh, she is the one behind it. She actually works at Reese's school. She always talks about how rich people are snobs and that they're so mean and nasty, they don't care about anybody but themselves and their money and things like that. And even like the whole fight scene between Edres and Peyton, it's really sad because he's just generally asking questions and she's getting so confrontational, she's getting so high strung, and he's just like, please tell me this isn't true. And pretty much she pushes Edres and his he hits his head, and then so he's knocked out. Then Reese comes over and she's trying to explain, like, like, you know, like, hey, where's Edres? And all this kind of stuff. And Peyton's just like panicking, and then finally she explains like the reason why she does all of this. Like the reason her life is so crappy is because her parents worked for Reese's father, and they died at a fire in a fire at in his house, and he didn't care about them, he only cared about his wealth and his money, and that he put the blame on a six-year-old child at the time, and so she hard harbored all this hatred and everything. And Edres is trying to like be like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You know, they're they've changed, they're different people now, and Peyton's not having it. And of course, Peyton shoots Reese's dad, he dies, but um Eris and Reese become an item, she gets into the dance company, and Eris lets go of all that hatred. So it is okay movie. Like for me, it is a one time watch. I would recommend it for other people to watch to see if you like it. Um, but like I said, I did fast forward through a lot, but what I did watch, I really did enjoy it. And yeah, that was about all.
